Clark Memorial Library has a large collection of books available for checkout, covering a vast array of subjects. If you are a student, please see this page regarding borrowing materials; if you are faculty, please see this page. For all other patrons, please see below for information regarding access to our materials.
Former students who have completed 12 or more credit hours at the university are eligible to checkout items from the SSU Library and OhioLINK.
Any member of the public may receive a Clark Memorial Library card. To do so, simply come into the library with a photo ID and fill out a registration form.
The privileges available to community members with a borrower's card are the same privileges extended to Alumni (see above).
Visiting Student Borrowers
Clark Memorial Library can work with high schools to offer borrowing privileges to the high school's students. If your high school has arranged this benefit for you, simply bring your information sheet and card to the Service Desk, and we can set your account up. The borrowing privileges available to visiting student borrowers are the same privileges extended to community member card holders and alumni (see above).
Retired Faculty / Staff
Retired faculty and staff may also use the Clark Memorial Library's resources, including checking out materials. Retired faculty and staff may check out most books for 21 days, and media for 7 days.
