Adding Library Resources to a Blackboard course is very easy. Follow these steps to add a research guide for a course (or view the video linked below).
Subject guides contains links to the best resources for your students to use. These resources are handpicked by the subject (liaison) librarians and guide your students to scholarly literature.
1) Login to Blackboard and go to your course.
2) On the upper left side of the page, click the + icon above your course's title.
3) Click Tool Link.
4) In the Name box, type Library Resources.
5) Under Type, scroll down and select Library Resources.
6) Checkmark Available to Users.
7) Click Submit.

The library has a huge collection of electronic resources. Persistent links take the user directly to the desired content and proxied links make the material accessible to those on campus or off campus.
A proxied link passes students who are on campus directly to the resource. If a user is off campus, they are asked to authenticate. One URL serves both sets of users.
