ENGL 1101, 1102, and 1105

Introduction

Hi, ENGL 1101/1102 and 1105 Students!

Your library instruction will take place using the videos and tutorials on this page AND the videos in "ENGL 1101/1102 Additional Videos" or "ENGL 1105 Additional Videos" tab on this guide.

ENGL 1101/1102: Please watch all of the videos/tutorials on this page and the page titled "ENGL 1101 & 1102 Additional Videos." You will see a tab on this guide leading you to that page -- just click the tab. Your professor will be providing a document about evaluating sources in your Blackboard page that you will be responsible for, too. Once you've watched ALL of the videos on this page and the videos/tutorials on the "ENGL 1101 & 1102 Additional Videos" page, you will be responsible for taking a quiz. Your professor will have this link in your Blackboard class.

ENGL 1105: Please watch all of the videos on this page. You also will be responsible for all of the videos and tutorials on the "ENGL 1105 Additional Videos" page. You will see a tab on this guide leading you to that page -- just click the tab. If you took ENGL 1101/1102 at SSU in the past few semesters, some of the videos/tutorials on the "ENGL 1105 Additional Videos" page are a review. However, you are responsible for all of this content so I suggest watching all of the video/tutorials. Your professor will be providing a document about evaluating sources in your Blackboard page that you will be responsible for, too. Once you are comfortable for all of the content, you will be responsible for taking a quiz. Your professor will have this link in your Blackboard class.

One final note: The links in the "Additional Videos" tabs can sometimes work slowly. In addition, it may come back with an error message after you sign in (using your network username and password). Just reload the tab and you should be fine.
