You'll be happy to know SSU's Clark Memorial Library has many services and resources available to you as you work on papers and projects for your classes -- even though you may not be near the library building itself.
This guide will provide information on these services and resources. Use the tabs to the left to find out about them.

To access online resources available through the library off campus, you will be asked to authenticate. Your library username is the first part of your SSU single sign on login BEFORE the @shawnee.edu (e.g. doej4). Your password is your NETWORK password. Go to the "Get Connected" page (https://www.shawnee.edu/get-connected) for information on activating your accounts.
I know my username and password.
Make sure the username you are using is the first part of your SSU single sign on/network username BEFORE @shawnee.edu. It's a little confusing, but your library username is not your full network username. You may hear the term "Single Sign-on" or "SSO". You will use your Single Sign-on password but NOT the full Single Sign-on username.
Are you using your SSU NETWORK password? This is the same as the one you use for MySSU and Blackboard. Do not use your SSU e-mail password.
Have you activated your network account (https://www.shawnee.edu/get-connected#network)? You must change the default password to activate your account.
I know my library username, but I don't know my network default password.
Please go to the ITS "Get Connected" page (https://www.shawnee.edu/get-connected#network) This page explains your network username and default password. Remember: You use your network password to access library resources, but your library username is NOT your full network username. It's the first part of your SSU e-mail before @shawnee.edu.
You must change the default password for your network account before you can use electronic resources from an off campus location.
It worked the other day.......
Lack of access also occurs when it is time to reset/change your network password.
You are required to change your network password every 90 days. If you change your password, please wait at least 30 minutes for it to process and allow you in to the library resources.
