Welcome to your Literature Research Guide! This guide has been designed to assist you with your literary needs.

The "Find Articles" tab contains databases that are useful for searching for sources for your papers. This is especially helpful if you're looking for scholarly or peer-reviewed resources. The Gale Virtual Reference Library is my favorite resource for literary analyses.

The "Find Books" tab to the left contains a link to the library catalog, along with tips for finding books in the library.

The "Children's Literature" tab provides a detailed list of resources for anyone taking a children's lit course.

If you're interested in popular literature, the "Literary Awards" tab is updated with a list of literature awards, and features a few prize winners from the past year.

One last thing to keep in mind--I am the English & Humanities liaison librarian. If you're having trouble in any stage of the research process--whether you're struggling to pick a topic or encountering frustration when looking for information, please know that you can contact me at any time to meet. My contact information is available throughout this guide, or you can schedule an appointment by clicking the "Schedule a Research Consultation" link on the far side of the library website. Or feel free to stop by my office! I'm here to help, so I hope you'll seek me out if you need it.

Good luck with your research--I hope to hear from you!
