Research Appointments

A Research Appointment, also known as a Research Consultation, is one-on-one meeting with a librarian. The librarian can help you if you are not sure how to start your research paper and would like some guidance. If you start your research and run into trouble finding sources or are unsure what to do next, a librarian can help with that, too.

You can schedule this appointment in a few different ways.

  1. The library homepage has a link that says "Schedule a Research Appointment." Click on that and fill out the form.
  2. Each Subject Research Guide has a "Meet Your Librarian" profile box. You can e-mail that librarian by clicking on the "Email Me" button. You'll also see the librarian's other contact information.
  3. You can visit the library's main desk and the student or specialist will help direct you to a librarian.

Remember, the librarians are here to help all students!
