Information Technology Services (ITS)
The ITS Help Desk is located on the bottom floor of the library (right next to the Writing Center). If you have any questions with technology, from MySSU to hardware and software support, visit the ITS Help Desk.
Password Problem?
If you are having problems logging into campus accounts (e-mail and network), keep in mind that you are required to change your SSU password (for on-campus computer access, Blackboard, etc.) every 120 days. If would like assistance, fill out the ITS Service: Get Help form, visit the ITS Help Desk on the bottom floor of the library, or contact them at (740) 351-3538.
For any problems accessing online library resources:
The library’s authentication process for logging in to online databases has moved to single sign-on through ITS. Therefore, if you are signed into Blackboard or MySSU, you will be automatically logged into online library resources.
If you are unable to log in, you may have an expired single sign-on password. Please fill out an ITS Get Help form, visit the ITS Service Desk, or contact the ITS Service Desk at 740-351-3538.
Blackboard
Many SSU professors use Blackboard to communicate with students, post assignments, and post grades. If you are having difficulty using Blackboard, help is available on the bottom floor of the library. Just visit the ITS Help Desk, contact them at (740) 351-3538, or fill out the ITS Service: Get Help form and they will assist you.
