Other Sources of Help

Health Clinic and Campus Counseling Services

SSU offers many counseling and psychological services to students free of charge.

The Health Clinic and Campus Counseling Services are available to students "to help you maintain good health; to provide treatment for minor injuries and illnesses; and to help you lay a strong foundation for the future."

Veteran Services

If you are a veteran or current service member, first of all, thank you for your service! Secondly, you may already be aware of SSU Veteran Services. Veteran Services provides assistance with understanding and obtaining the educational benefits and entitlements available to you, as well as assistance with the transition to academic and civilian life.

If you do not know where to go for help with an existing issue or problem, please do not give up on finding help!

Two good options if you are unsure are:

  • Student Success Center located on the first floor of Massie Hall
  • Campus Counseling Services located in Hatcher Hall (on 4th Street)

If these two offices cannot provide the help directly, the staff members will point you to the best resource.
